Genres as a useful marketing tool but a stifling creative tool

In 1995 the UK band Slowdive used visual notation from György Ligeti's 1958 work Artikulation for the sleeve of their album Pygmalion. I have returned the favour and applied Ligeti’s name to Slowdive artwork from their 1991 full-length, Just for a day.
